Another of F&R Construction Group, Inc. Senior Project Managers, Manolo is our most experienced Design/Build Project Manager. He joined F&R Construction Group, Inc. in 1973 as the Project Superintendent of the Isleta Marina Project, in Fajardo.
After an absence from our company, of almost 11 years, while working in Venezuela, Manolo came back to F&R with an acquired experience in heavy construction.
He was the Project Manager in charge of delivering the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel & Casino Project, the first ever LEED certified hotel in Puerto Rico. As Design/Build Project Manager, he has been in charge of the construction of several buildings for the Judicial System in Hato Rey, Mayaguez, Fajardo, Bayamon, and most recently the Judicial Center in Caguas, a $96 Million Dollar Project completed in 2014.
Among the other projects, supervised by Manolo, is the renovation and construction of Plaza AEELA, the Bayamón Correctional Facilities and several residential projects.
Manolo is an active member of the Professional College of Engineers and Land Surveyor of PR and has professional engineering licenses, both from Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

José M. Ruiz-Carballo, BSCE, a Civil Engineer with F&R Construction Group, Inc., will serve as Project Manager. His years of construction experience will ensure superior and thorough supervision of all aspects of the construction process. Mr. Ruiz has 15 years of field supervision experience on projects of up to $135 million in construction value, including direct participation as Project Supervisor for the $24 million Bayshore Villas in San Juan. He excels at managing crews of skilled and unskilled workers at construction sites, as well as in planning and scheduling work and tracking project progress for successful, timely completions.

Joe joined F&R Construction Group, Inc. in 1985, as a Project Superintendent. In that capacity, he has supervised the construction of complex projects, such as the new Budweiser Warehouse and Controlled Environment Facilities, in Bayamón; the DuPont Agrichemical Plant and the Quintaville Condominium.
He was promoted to Project Manager in 1996 and as such, has steered the successful and on-time completion of many of our company’s most challenging assignments.
Among the many projects in his portfolio, are the State Insurance Fund Building, in Río Piedras; the luxurious Millennium Condominium in San Juan; the Paseo Caribe, mixed use complex, in San Juan; the El San Juan Hotel & Casino Parking Building, and the new Supreme Court Library Building.
Joe is an active member of the Professional College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of PR and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

José is one of the company’s new generation of Project Managers. He started working for F&R Construction Group, Inc., in 1996, as a Project Superintendent, and, in 1998, was promoted to Project Manager.
To his credit, he has over 10 completed jobs, including Residential walk-up and high- rise Projects, as well as Office Buildings, parking structures, public works and Elderly Projects.
Certainly, he most impressive one, being the recently completed $60 Million Dollar, Quantum Metro Center, in Hato Rey. This high rise complex consists of a residential structure, made up of two towers, each with 80 apartments and 28 stories high, divided by an integrated parking structure.
José is a member of the Professional College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of PR.
